Homemade

Today's "plan" was to pack and set off to Manchester as early in the day as possible, make a day of the drive (actual driving time is 4.5hrs), and arrive after tea.

Hah.

Life laughs in the face of plans...

5pm we set off, after various poorliness and finishing things (mainly these hot chocolate jars) and trying to back laptops up before taking them with us and playing with lego and washing up.

But the boys both fell asleep fairly early on, and woke up around 9pm ish when we stopped for something to eat, then were awake when we arrived at Steve's parents' house. Think that was the easiest long journey we've done with the two of them, bar none. Quick drink and a catch-up, into pyjamas, and up to bed!
