Souther House

It's still windy, but a beautiful sunny day.  Warmed up a tad too.  Showers came in by teatime, and a showery evening.

I've been working at the Croft House Museum today, and a really busy morning.  There was a big cruise ship in Lerwick.  I had a quieter afternoon.  Mostly American's in, and at closing time, some folk from California tracing family roots to Shetland from the 1880s.  I finally managed a walk with Sammy this evening, we didn't get too wet.  Mam and Elise popped by for a cuppa.  Off out later.

I was stuck in the smoky Croft House all morning, so getting out into the sunshine was a warm welcome at lunchtime.  A fine summery feel to the day, and we really do need more.  It was a fine brisk walk, and spied a few folk out cutting grass, and enjoying the day.  Taken from Royal Houll, looking to Souther House, Dunrossness.
