In A Hole In The Ground
Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,
It’s our last night so we all went out for dinner to La Torre del Mirador, a seafood restaurant. The food was lovely but the portions were ENORMOUS. The Explorer and I had ordered Sea Bass for two people but it would have fed two families. We were all absolutely stuffed so Boots kept ordering more bottles of wine as apparently “that will cut through it!”
In fairness it worked - we all had a second wind and even decided to have a last couple of drinks when we got back to the hotel as we were having such a nice night. The Explorer was telling us that she had recently been at the AGM for the family business. One of the younger family members, Kit has Asperger Syndrome and often checks with his mother whether certain social interactions will be appropriate. He asked If it was ok to tell someone they look like a film star and his mother assured him that it would be a lovely compliment.
So Kit went up to the doppelgänger at the meeting and excitedly told her that she looked like the Hobbit.
