U.S.A Holiday - Day 9

The quietest of days, we realised early on that the Jeep fanbelt had gone again and that the water pump had failed so we quickly rearranged ourselves. Janet drove Clare and I + all the bags down to the apartment in La Verne I the hire car. John waited at the cabin with the dogs and removed the water pump, Janet returned the hire car, collected the Mustang then returned to the cabin for John and the dogs.
Sounds complicated, not really, we fitted in Grandma Hart’s Birthday Tea and silk scarf painting for the ladies at the Mudshack.

All rested ready for tomorrow.
