Properly wet

Unlike the miserable drive to Sherwood Forest, yesterday, today's trip to Derbyshire was a joy; clear skies and dry roads. And after a successful and enjoyable meeting, I was looking forward to a run, this evening.

When it came to it, though, the weather took a turn for the worst shortly after I set out on my run. In the space of five minutes I went from thinking "Blimey, it's warm: I wish I'd worn a running vest" to being properly soaked through.

Still, I did feel great by the time I'd got home, showered, and walked down to La Rocca, where I met up with the Minx, miniMinx, and one of her friends. It turned out to be a lovely meal with plenty of laughs, too.
