Relaxed

No builders at 8am. I anticipated they would not be coming so achieved a later start.

Paperwork, mainly around our mother’s estate, then out to drop off thank you notes then meet up with Malcom for lunch.

Malcolm was head of practice at SCRA. He and I go back 2 decades. Malcolm retired earlier this year and we agreed to catch up.

Like the proverbial duck to water, he has taken to retirement. A very enjoyable lunch followed by a ”refreshment” sitting outside in the sunshine in the Grassmarket. Depressed ourselves slightly talking about Brexit and the apparent pressure for a no-deal.

Back home to undertake upgrades to the computers! Visited the local library to sort out my bus pass! Attended the induction at our church of a new Chaplain Ordinary to Queen Elizabeth. Then Bake off.

Busy day but not having to cram it in around work reduced the pressure.
