One Frosty Morning

A frosty morning, and didn't get much warmer through the day.  Calm and sunny all day, with a lovely calm cold clear night.

Back to work in the museum, and I've been working on the desk all day.   It's been a steady day of visitors.  Popped by Madeline's while out walkies with Sammy.  Fine to have the peat fire roaring on chilly nights like this.  Off to work in the pub later. 

I do love winter and morning/days like these.  The first good frost of the season, and temperatures plummeting again into minus after work, it'll be the same again tomorrow.  There is also some snow forecast tomorrow, possibly tonight too.  A cold snowy winter would be ideal.  Frost and sunshine in my garden first thing this morning, Houl Road, Scalloway.
