From the studio roof
We managed to find time for a walk this morning despite having a packed day as we are on our way to the Inn on the Lake at Glenridding tonight for our pre Christmas break at our favourite hotel.
We’re travelling up to Peterborough this evening to give ourselves a head start and avoid having to fight our way out of Kent, through the Tunnel and around the M25 during rush hour.
Susan’s mum is going into respite care so Susan has spend most of the afternoon getting her mum ready to go and taking her there. Something always comes up with her house just as we’re going away. This time her router was off line and we need that to monitor her intruder alarm. I managed to resolve the issue at 11.30pm last night.
I think Doreen eats light bulbs, in the last 3 weeks 12 bulbs have been replaced and as you know trying to work out which bulb you need is a nightmare of watts, lumens, fitting and shape.
Today’s blip is from the roof of Susan’s studio looking into our gardens. An unusual view of the garden. I was up there to see if I could spot the source of a leak in her studio. Nothing as I could see, no apples blocking the gutter for instance. That doesn’t bode well. Something for when we get back.
