Clare and I drove up to Southampton today to visit Aunt Barbara and Uncle Albert, it’s a journey we have become used to. Today instead of stopping at a coffee shop for a coffee we stopped at a farm shop for a cooked breakfast.
Whilst at the hospital and enjoying a coffee with Uncle Albert the conversation turned to Clare’s family history and a prospective road trip to Poland for Clare and I.
The internet throws up many things and this picture of a floor panel in a building Kalisz, Poland, shows A Knoch, Uncle Albert is also A Knoch, named after his grandfather whom the floor panel acknowledges.
