A lovely end to a stressful few weeks

Mad mad day but we finished all applications including the emergency ones which came in at the last minute - toys picked and packed for 25,300+ children (exact numbers to be confirmed) in the space of 24 days.

The few leftovers (from late pickups of toys donated by the public) will be kept back for next years campaign or to fulfil late applications.

Home in time to get showered and changed and head into Edinburgh for dinner with three lovely ladies who I’ve known for 20+ years. We realised that we never take any photos whilst we are together so asked the waitress to take one. She took 2 (see extra for the other) and then said ‘hope they’re ok - I’m not wearing my glasses!’.

Wonderful evening and young Mr PHL cane in to collect us and drop everyone home. Too late to blip!
