Happy Christmas from the Black Isle

Up early to get the veg prepped for dinner. A lovely sunrise at around 9.20am. A lazy bath , more food organised , Turkey in and Richard and Ronnie arrived. A good chat and a few presents opened before Mike, David and myself headed to the beach for a walk. Ronnie and Richard stayed here as they were tired after working long shifts for the last few weeks.
A beautiful walk in the sunshine.
Back home to start putting the rest of the meal together. Turkey out and looking good, potatoes in, then the pigs in blankets , stuffing and honey roasted carrots and parsnips. All the other veg etc on the boil and finally the Yorkshire puddings in. Meal completed , yippee. David carved the Turkey and Richard made the bread sauce. We managed to sit round the table without having to move it and all enjoyed the meal.
Watched the Queens speech, phoned my Mum and Dad. Watched some of Finding Dory whilst eating After Eights.
Sun setting and Richard and Ronnie headed home.
We watched a few programmes on TV and then watched Godzilla. Some great Titans and special effects. We even managed to eat a few sandwiches :)
Hope you all had a wonderful day too :)
