Size!

Look at how big the Orpingtons Charlotte and Aurora are! Massive girls! You would think they would be at the top of the pecking order but they are not! It's true what they say - size doesn't matter! They are the newest girls so still low down in pecking order! They are the highest in the group they were bought with though!
They made me laugh the other evening - Charlotte had gone in the coop but was standing in the doorway with her big bum filling the doorway! Aurora waited patiently behind her and then decided she was going to barge her way in - but Charlotte was not for moving. She resolutely held her position and Charlotte was left flapping her wings as she held on with her claws to the edge of the doorframe! 
The area around the coop is pretty muddy as you can see - I've skidded many times up there but so far I've managed to stay upright!
