Morro Bay State Beach
Morro Bay State Beach -- We stopped here this afternoon after a doing a kazillion errands, if they could be called that. Really we had been out since morning doing some needed shopping and simply a little looking -- we call this "doo-dah-ing."
Because they had been in the car the whole time, the pooches needed to walk, and Mr. Fun is always willing to take them out on the sand. Mitzi, the little caramel colored Shih tzu, loves the sand, actually they all do. I captured several good shots -- one with a surfer catching a wave just behind them, and way off in the distance some interesting property on the hills, but this one of them all walking, the group of surfers bobbing in the water, and the bird flying had just enough action to satisfy me.
Right after this, we drove just a short distance to a restaurant new to us for a late lunch: Tognazzini's Dockside Restaurant & Fish Market. We learned about this place to eat from Tookie; her daughter-in-law's family own the restaurant and several times in the past "tookie" (Foto Flare with Clare) and "For Comments Only" have mentioned that when we are in the Morro Bay area we should give this a try. So today we did and we sure were glad we did! The food was delicious and we'll definitely go there again.
Enjoying California's Central Coast,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
