Last of the Big Five

A leisurely start as we didn’t leave till 9.15. 400 km drive to Joburg. Nice mountain scenery, forests, fruit farms then onto main roads with flat land. Stopped at a service station with lots of shops and junk food places to see rescued animals including rhino in the little park. Some ostrich, gemsbok, and sableL. The last leg - flat area of coal mInes and coal power stations. Then an old gold mine just before airport. Dropped off at 4pm and we found a quiet place to sit for 5 hours till our night flight to Heathrow.
