and gunfire, cannon booms, yells, bugle retreats, horses and more.   The Battle of Broxton Bridge reenactment was one of the best I have ever seen.  These people were really in to being in the history they were portraying.   There was lots of smoke and cannon booms that shook the ground and vibrated our bodies!     Really enjoyed this history lesson.

We spent most of the day at the site of the reenactment with a few stops on the drive to the location.     We are now settled in at Summerville for the night.   Perfect weather today,  warm and sunny!
