Following My Own Advice!

Yesterday fellow Blipper 'HarlingDarling' said she'd hurt her knee when she had a tumble from her bike. I commented - I hope you've got it elevated with an ice pack on.
Well, well - now here I am on the couch, leg elevated with a stretch bandage and an ice pack!
It doesn't take much to do my right knee in! Usually twice a year I end up with bursitis from a simple turn of my leg or a stoop to pick something up.
This morning I just stooped to pull a couple of weeds out of the raised potato plot then as I walked to the back door felt it swell up immediately. It is painful to weight bear on and even just to move it while lying here. I know it will be better in a couple of days.
However, this happened just as I was about to go for a routine Practice Nurse appointment for medication check and she was quite worried about my leg so asked the Dr to phone me this afternoon. I'm now lying here waiting for the call.

Meantime Frank will be at my beck and call - now where's that little bell? :-D
