Lazy day

I have done practically nothing today. JR, on the other hand hasn’t stopped - cleaning windows, washing, making meals. Also, taking Archie out in the afternoon. 

He had been out in the morning with Robert. They must have just missed the excitement at the usually serene Duck Pond - it’s in the paper tonight about an incident there involving ‘three police vans, three police cars, and several police officers in bodysuits’ (whatever they are) and they ‘apprehended a male person’.

The morning was sunny and warm, but in the afternoon it became dreich and chilly, so I was not exactly clamouring to go out anyway. 

I’ve made an appointment to go and have a demo run on an e-bike! Jus’ lookin’...

These peonies have been lovely and have lasted for ages. 

7 Covid deaths reported today, but probably at the weekend, when they don’t bother reporting deaths.
