Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

Dreich!

An ex-walker of Archie’s made contact the other day, wishing to renew her friendship with him, but today was mizzly, so it’s been postponed till the weekend.

Which meant that we had to take him out for a walk. Neither of us was keen to go out in the drizzle, but had to give in to his wee sad, pleading face. So we went (drove) up the hill, and he had a gallop between us - the best exercise. Then he and JR walked home down the Big Steps (some people JOG up them!) and round by the Duck Pond, while I drove home via the shop to return one of JR’s many shopping items.

A bath for Archie, then we both listened to our respective audiobooks, only to be disrupted by (yet another) delivery...

I’m always quite impressed with the sharpness of portrait shots (Extra), especially as there was a wee breeze and the cornflower kept flapping about.

We’ve been enjoying the Channel 4 documentary on the Falconio & Lees mystery in the Outback years ago. Last episode tonight. Many unanswered questions.
