Wednesday: #30DaysWild - Wildlife Garden ...

... full of insects and birds today in the sunshine.
MrD went off on his motorbike this morning and I started off some salads from seed, sowed seeds of poppies and lime green aquilegia. Also started sprouting broccoli, scarlet kale, greyhound cabbage in the hope of greens for the winter and next spring.
Emptied a large tub of compost and dried it out in the sunshine - blackbirds helping themselves to worms and grubs!
Very hot this afternoon so I stayed indoors watching “Art of Persia” which is a beautiful BBC series presented by Samira Ahmed.
