Palms in the Wind

Miserable to start off, brightened later, but still very blowy. Did a few tasks round the house and enjoyed a healthy light lunch (salad courtesy of Mr B), dinner too - Diet Day 1.

Had a pleasant walk to see the goats (not in their usual spot), and returned via the back to avoid the wind. Noticed the nearby hotel is preparing for reopening. The begonia have been planted, the garden looks magnificent again, ready for an onslaught of garden weddings.

A surge in Covid cases announced in Leicester. By the time the government decides whether to lockdown the area, no doubt it will spread further. Hope not.
