Dragonfly

Happy birthday grandma!

This morning we got ready and headed to grandma's with her present and card. We were hoping to go for a walk but it was raining lots, so we stayed in until after lunch. We decided to brave the weather and go to etherow and got lucky - it was dry and pretty sunny. Chloe walked half way round again, which surprised me as she'd not had a nap and she was almost falling asleep in her lunch!
When we got back to mums auntie Rachel and uncle paul were there for a socially distanced birthday catch up. Thomas played badminton across the garden with uncle Paul and Chloe enjoyed sitting in the gin corner with dad (trying to drink his beer!)
When we got home Ben was watering the plants and spotted a massive dragonfly on the tree! I've added a close up as an extra.
