Bright and beautiful

Slept great, woke around 7, dozed until the noisy bin men woke us good and proper ;-)

A damp morning but finally got out for a run (& brisk walking) 8kms in just under 1.5hrs, felt pretty good, didnt get soaked! Just need to get out more frequently now to improve the length of each run sequence.

Back around 11, straight into the shower, hair done, the. a nice coffee to keep me going until lunch time. Caught up with social media and watched an italian programme, a dairy of an A&E doctor during their pandemic....everyone should watch it, so eye opening and moving.

A thin bagel with ham cheese and salad for lunch, hub had the same, but on a couple those quick bake french rolls.

We waited for the rain to stop before going out for an hour. We went to a farm shop, chose a few things, including a part prepared chicken curry for dinner this evening, as well as some chilli beef meatballs and lamb koftas, some nice lean gammon......oh and I bought a pair of sandals and an ankle length dress that will be nice for our cruise, if and when it happens :-/
Couldnt try it on, but have done so now, it fits nicely, quite pleased with it, it was a bargain.

We called to catch up with daughter and Em on our way back.....by the time we had finished chatting it was 6.30 when we left!

This evening has turned out to be nice, quite bright.....a quick pop into the back garden to find my blip. This bright red potentilla was looking right at me, in the sunshine, so it got my vote and its day in the spotlight.

We have been watching a series on tv about the best places to eat around the world, with Fred, from First Dates, and a guest chef each night, really enjoying it.

Hope your all well and safe
