Mystic Em eating an apple was just too photogenic to resist. A bright spot in a dull day.

We threaded a LAN cable through a thirty five foot conduit today. It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t long enough. Just like life really.

The hospital rang and offered me an appointment for tomorrow for my eye. This after TSM wrote them the most amazing email. She knows how to get things done and will walk on hot coals for the people she loves.

The chancellor’s emergency budget includes £10 per person off eating out in August. This government seems to think it’s running a discount voucher scheme rather than a country. Funny how there seems to be a magic money tree under this lot. But it’s just buying time and doesn’t address the real problem, namely the long tail of austerity and the great Covid crisis.
