Monday: Dreamcatchers

We had a full day with H&J today.  We caught the ferry over to Texada (counter intuitively pronounced Teck-say-da) where we explored as much as we could.  We spent time on Shingle Beach, hiked to Stromberg Falls and visited the beaches at Van Anda.  

It was a really good day with lots to explore.  Generally, though, Texada is one of those islands that seems a little resentful of ‘incomers’.  

Lovely meal out right next door to our accommodation.
