Finally

It’s been a long old journey to get here and my dad was heroic in his driving efforts today.

But finally we’ve reached our final destination, Beynac-et-Cazenac on the Dordogne River.

Positively dripping with sweat after putting the tent up, a quick cycle to the shop to find sustenance and then a swim down the river to cool down before bed.

I think we’re going to like it here. Biggest daily task will be deciding whether to run, swim, cycle or kayak, followed by decided which pastry to have for breakfast.
