Down memory lane

We had an easy 2 .5 hour drive to our old home. This is it, looking a bit smarter than when we had it. It was a lovely family home for 21 years till we retired and moved back to Northumberland. Our youngest was 6 when we came here - all the daughters grew up here. Our neighbours still live there and invited us for lunch in their garden. It was so hot and lovely there and great to see them.

We then drove to a friend’s garden in Ipswich. It was quite a squeeze to get the 7.5 m van into their drive which was 7.65 wide. Brilliant driving Mr C.

We are having a Wagamama takeaway with lovely ex-colleague and good friend and her husband. We are outside and it is WARM. Hurrah. Sunny Suffolk
