Day 2 of Annandale Way

Day 2 of the Annandale Way - 12 miles today, and weather not as clear as yesterday ...

... we extended today's route slightly, by going on to Johnstonebridge for overnight accommodation - and we were certainly pleased to have a warm room (as opposed to a tent) given today's conditions!

Main snap shows the 'Crooked Road' as it winds its way up from Moffat and onto the adjoining moors; extra shows 'R' holding a 4-leaf clover ... the first one she had ever found: hopefully a sign of good weather tomorrow??
