Annoyingly I was awake earlier than I'd have liked - a slightly strained muscle in my side meant every time I roleld over I woke, and eventually it was daylight so....
It's always good to stretch out the legs on the bike after a day of hill walking, although my quads were screaming any time I had to descend steps.
After a leisurely brunch at Hula (coconut and yellow split pea soup, sriracha chicken, avocado and red coleslaw wrap) we headed to Braidburn to get enough blackberries to do a blackberry upside down cake.
A day of gentle movement and refueling, mostly.
