Feasting

I had a wonderful walk with Merlin before I started work today. The morning was sunny and the air crisp and clear. We spent some time standing, taking in our surroundings. A flock of starlings were gorging themselves on the sloes in this hedgerow. They made quite a noise as they chattered excitedly to each other. A perfect start to the day.
