Road trip!

This was the view from Hilary and Doug's window as I woke this morning... Actually quite a pleasant journey today, Naomi relented on her decision to spend the whole journey in silent study... Beautiful Northumberland scenery for the first hour or so, then motorway driving through Tyne & Wear, County Durham, North / West / South Yorkshire, Notts, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, West Mids, Warwickshire, to Oxford. Then dropped Naomi at her house for the year, opposite Iffley Road sports ground, where Roger Bannister broke the 4 minute mile and I played the odd game of rugby... (see extra). Then across the Cotswolds (Oxfordshire, Warwickshire) to Worcester for a lovely Nepalese meal with Francis and partner... Now in Premier Inn overlooking Worcestershire Cricket Ground and the Cathedral... 400 miles, 7.5 hours of driving!! zzz
