Rural Scene

There is something surreal about being in an idyllic rural location - the large parkland setting of a country house, a field of stubble, ancient trees, horses in the fields (the cattle must all have been taken in) - and suddenly noticing on the horizon one of the iconic structures of the mid 20th century. The large radio telescope at Jodrell Bank.

Which relegated an earlier pic of a dahlia still flowering to the extras. So the tag doesn’t really work, but never mind.
