Through the Porthole!
When Frank took Bella May out just before, it was just light rain but I put her rain coat on anyway. Good job I did - it was soon torrential! They both came back dripping wet but thankfully not soaked to the skin. Bella is now in her favourite place right next to the stove.
We've had a very lazy day, reading the paper, knitting and having coffee and biscuits (I must stop that!)
The weather was actually dry and sunny for most of the day. I still can't go for a walk yet, though my knee is less painful just still a bit swollen.
I did a click and collect order at Morrison's. We can get it early tomorrow morning. Did you know that they automatically add on the cost of plastic bags? I didn't realise till I got to checkout and had paid. We always take everything out of the bags when we collect and give them back to woman. What a waste of 90p! I think it will be Tesco next time!
At least we'll be stocked up for lock down.
I hope this lockdown has the desired effect. I think if people want to see their loved ones at Christmas they will have to comply with the rules. Fingers and everything else crossed and praying!
Stay safe, dry and cosy! :-)X
