It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Our neighbours are always amongst the first in the area to get the Xmas decorations and lights up, but this year it’s happened at least a fortnight earlier than usual.
I can only assume they’ve been caught up in the “what else is there to do in lockdown” mindset as, whilst we were on our walk yesterday, I spotted at least half dozen households that were obviously getting ready for Xmas, ranging from a few lights around the door to a fully dressed Christmas tree!
Still no idea what we will or won’t be allowed to do at Christmas as regards seeing other people, though it won’t necessarily be a bad thing as far as I’m concerned. We’ve always preferred to spend Christmas Day and Boxing Day on our own anyway, so won’t be too gutted if we’re not allowed to travel and see family!
And what about our own Christmas decorations / lights? Well, if it was down to me, 23rd December would be about right, but I suspect Mrs C will have other ideas. It definitely won’t be while the calendar still says “November” though!!
