Great Day

For the first time that any of us can remember it was just the four of using Christmas Day, no family, no friends, it was a great day.
Clare and I were still woken at some ungodly hour but then we all slept in.
Long Christmas Lunch followed by gift giving in the lounge in front of a roaring fire. Such good fun and a little excitement, everyone seemed happy with their lot.
Snacking throughout the afternoon and evening before an extended family Zoom in the evening, sadly they all move into Tier 4 tomorrow.

The T shirts were a great Starman gift idea from Mrs S, the second photograph shows the kids in the same style shirts some years ago. Not changed much have they?

It wasn’t until we were ready for bed that we realised that the TV hadn’t been on all day.
