New toy

My Dad bought me a microscope for my birthday along with an attachment to allow my DSLR to be used for imaging. Essentially, the same type of set up as my telescope, just for very small things, very close, rather than very large things, very far away!

Have been tinkering around with it this evening, looking at a variety of slides that Corin's Dad has loaned to me - have been investigating the internal organs of frogs and some parts of bees.

This is part of a bee leg. on 40x magnification.

Just need to figure out how to stop the flare from the light on the scope...
