SOS.....Save our Stables

L3 Day 61. You may have seen the item on Park Lane Stables, Teddington, on Breakfast TV today. Clare Balding was supporting their crowdfunding appeal to ‘Save our Stables ‘ as the current landlord wants to sell. Rob Brydon ( who lives near) also made an appeal on ITV a few days ago and John Altman (‘Nasty’ Nick Cotton from Eastenders) who also lives near made a YouTube appeal. When I went past a TV crew was interviewing the owner again. (See extra)
This morning they had raised about £500,000. As of 5pm it was up to £1,200,000.
They do a lot for disabled riders and Princess Anne who has visited in the past and is the president of RDA is also supportive.
The main blip is by the bridge at Teddington Lock in the Anglers pub garden.
