Easter Parade

I was wandering across the bridge into Princes St Gardens in the sunshine happily snapping away at the castle, lots of bright flowers and stuff, when I suddenly found myself slap bang in the middle of the Easter Parade.

It came as quite a surprise and was a bit unnerving especially as I had to then battle my way through everyone going in the other direction to me. I don't think I've ever seen so many people in that area.
I did however have the presence of mind to blip this before the tidal wave of folk engulfed me :o)

Much as I love the eggs, its quite nice to see so many people coming out to celebrate in this way too.
