Baby Groweths 2021!
I think I must have a Blip with the same title last year ;-)
The main (top) shows my tomato plants, they're a bush variety, so ideal to have on the boat or the towpath in summer. Last year they did well outdoors. Below them is one courgette plant, a cucumber plant and teeny weeny lettuces.
The extra shows - clockwise from left Sweet Peas, a tray half with Lavender and half Lobelia, 2 pots of Convolvulus.
I need that greenhouse now! I wonder where in the world it is after leaving the Suez...
I've had a good morning, first I nipped to the post office to post the card I made for Amelia's Birthday then I decided to sweep and clean the yard. It's needed doing for a while but it's not a favourite job. Once I got stuck in though, I quite enjoyed myself. I also cleared out dead plants from the half barrel too and I may move my herbs into it. I think they would survive next winter better being next to the house wall. It was gloriously sunny out there and quite warm.
Once that was finished I made us some lunch and now we're sitting by the fire and it's snowing outside and yet it's still sunny - weird weather!
I'm going to spend the rest of the day reading, knitting and drawing and maybe a song or two on the uke.
Hope your day is good :-)X
