Tractor Tuesday.....

Another frosty start followed by a dry day again.
Kev on laying the last of the neeps out to some sheep. The grass has certainly had a check with this cold spell. You can see lots of scorched tracks where the quad bikes have been round the fields early in the mornings.
Spent the day mixing slurry then spread 4 loads after tea. This McCormick tractor is here on demo so thought I better find something for it to do.
Plenty of fancy bits on it including suspended front axle,sprung cab ,50 K gearbox,air brakes etc. Just more things to go wrong eventually. Will see how it gets on tomorrow.
Was amazed at all the views, comments and stars for yesterday's calf picture. I sometimes forget that things I take for granted or do often,like twinning on a calf to another cow, can be of interest to other folk who have never seen it done before.
And yes,she seems to be taking it fine,it was in sucking both front tits when I looked tonight,so will take the skin off it tomorrow. Job done hopefully.
