A Lovely Day
We had our 2nd Pfizer vaccine at 8.45 this morning!
Afterwards we went to Skipton Castle Woods for a lovely walk. I thought the first bluebells might be out but they weren’t, the woods were however filled with wild garlic and wood anenomes. We saw two Yellow Wagtails, the photo wasn’t good. It was so lovely to walk somewhere different and Bella loved it too - in fact when we headed back to the car she did that lying down thing and refused to budge.
On the way through town we parked up and I nipped into the bakers for lovely bread and rolls, I bought 3 of my favourite hand made soaps from Apothecary, then we both went to Fat Face and Frank got 2 T shirts in the sale and I bought a pretty green flowery dress - not in the sale :-0
This afternoon we sat in the garden and then I replanted the onion sets.
I didn’t realise for how long the bed I’d planted them in yesterday was in the shade. It only took 10 minutes to put them in the sunny bed.
They are covered over with close woven green netting.
I have also put all the ‘baby groweths’ to bed in the cold frame and covered them up with 4 layers of white fleece.
I am feeling really tired tonight and my jab arm is sore but bearable, so is Frank’s. A small price to pay for such protection!
Early night with my book tonight I think.
Goodnight :-)X
