thank curry it's friday

making curry paste.

a random series of events, otherwise known as shopping, led to me buying ghee in one shop, paneer in another and then catfood....no, hang on, that's not relevant...then going to the mill to buy flour made me think "oh, spicy paneer and naan, yummy"
the woman at the mill gave me my sesame seeds and a big bag of seasalt for free, just because I asked if the seasalt was pure and had no added iodine. She was happy that I appreciated that her seasalt had no additives, you see. Anyway, on my way home I realised that I'd been very cheeky as somewhere deep down in my memory I KNEW that they sold pure seasalt, I'd just forgotten. I'll never remember anything if I get rewarded for forgetting!
