Almost Normal Again

The weather was overcast and cool when we woke up at sunrise. I had one more day of work on the Christmas gifts project before turning it over to my sister. Sugar decided to help me (not) by sitting/standing on my lap the entire time. After lunch, we headed to town to run some errands, grab a tractor part in Ohio, shop and go to Mass. We are back in the church itself versus the school cafeteria, at St. Francis Xavier in Moundsville. The church is quite beautiful and the parishioners are welcoming and even call us by name. The priest’s homily is always down to earth and filled with words to live by. We are still only allowed to sit in every other pew and to keep a 6ft distance between each other. We finished off the day with a delicious Italian dinner at a local restaurant. We take so much for granted in life. COVID has taken us all down a peg. Thanks for dropping by.
