Wall Flowers

Monday again. Joe Wicks HIIT first then over to the allotment to plants some fruit trees, summer cabbage, broad beans and lettuce. And do a lot of watering. It’s so dry. There’s hardly been a splash all month - and there’s no sign of any significant rain in the forecast.

We walked around Caring Lane after lunch always, it seemed to us, into the teeth of nagging easterly wind. Passing by Caring House is always a treat at this time of the year with its verges covered in flowers against an interesting old wall.
