Brave
Ella and Nathaniel were brave and climbed up to the top of the above structure then they had to do the leap of faith to the zip wire to descend. They are shattered.
It was a lovely day but too hot to work in the garden throughout. Mr C got the 90 sweet pea plants tied up. I had another telephone marathon to get my repeat prescription for the glaucoma meds sorted in time for our next trip, to the NHS physio intermediary because I still can’t get the next appointment sorted. Also they typed in my email address incorrectly so that’s why I didn’t get the exercises. The promised video wasn’t there. The orthopaedic surgeon’s secretary did not get back to me about the scan appointment so I left a message for her. The DVLA has not answered my query about driving so I emailed them. It’s all very frustrating and time-consuming.
I finished the Outer Hebrides trip book. I read another 50 pages of the Sylvia Pankhurst biography. I finished the second sleeve of the knitted coat - had to stop as it does make the tennis elbow worse. I have cooked Mr C one of his favourite meals - a leek, mushroom, carrot and butter bean cheesy bake.
