Sea Pink, Thrift, Armeria maritima … growing on the mud banks down on the beach …
I’d walked down the lane with our family, there were spots of rain but pleasant walking weather - lots of wild flowers: red clover and white, meadow sweet just pushing through, buttercups everywhere, cow parsley, wild honeysuckle (woodbine) … no sign of samphire, maybe bit early and all the mixed weather we’ve had!
Rain showers off and on all afternoon, the builders arrived late afternoon to measure up for new windows …
