Bit gloomy and sad.
Our Ash trees are dying, hopefully there is some way the arborists can save the species as seeing trees in this condition really hurts. I'm not a softy, except where grandchildren, children, dogs, cats, cuddly things (ladies included) and apes are concerned, however to see a tree suffering such a slow unseemly death is saddening.

According to a report in the DT on the 8th March only 2% of Denmark's trees are resistant, scientists at the Sainsbury Laboratory and universities are attempting to unravel the DNA of the fungus that is causing the devastation.
