WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

By lizzie_birkett

Sometimes you just have to do it!

Still in Rotherham at Eastwood Lock.
This morning we walked down the towpath to the retail park we spotted yesterday.
We didn't really need anything in particular except biodegradable kitchen sponges and  poo bags.
We only found the poo bags.
I did go to The Works and found some puzzle books for the girls for when we see them in just over a week.
We suddenly got quite hungry and looking round I saw a Gregg's. Well, what could we do! Vegan sausage rolls and vegan doughnuts! At the time of blipping Frank was at the front of the queue.
How naughty but they were nice :-b
We found a bench to sit and eat them and immediately this flock of starlings descended. (Brambleblossom - I did give them crumbs!)
We didn't stay long at the shops as we had left Bella on the boat and also I find it hard to look at things with mask and specs - as I said last week after trying to go shopping in Leeds. I will not be boosting the economy!

It has been dry and warmish today.
I sorted the plants out on top of the boat.
Saw some more magnet fishers - they didn't 'catch' anything but they were having a lot of fun.
Practised ukulele again. Heck my fingers are sore! Practice practice practice! They'll have hardened up again in a few days.

So MH has resigned.
I feel sorry for his wife and children - having been there myself many years ago.

Watching a film now -  Finding Your Feet.
We've seen it before but it's good.

Thanks for the comments, stars and hearts
:-)X
