Testing times

As part of the UK Biobank programme I was given the opportunity to provide a blood sample to test whether my coronavirus antibodies came from a previous infection and not from the vaccination.

The instructions - and accompanying video online - were very clear and helpful. Test done and posted and hopefully get results in a couple of weeks. I find it amazing that such a test can be done and look forward to the result. I know that I had something in early February 2020 when joints ached painfully and I felt unwell. This test may rule out that it was not COVID back then.

Otherwise Euro 2020 is testing the nerves. Some exciting matches yesterday and today. England played well and I’m pleased they won. Our son - see extra - thought he’d support the other team. I’m just glad he kept his Croatia flag packed away the other week when we played them. He had the good sense to wear his Scotland short then.
