Abundant

Wild Poppies everywhere except my front garden.
I purchased a pack of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Wildflower Mix, scattered 50% in the front garden, sat back and waited, no Poppies, everything else but not a ‘splash’ of red. Meanwhile every nook and cranny on the pavement, verges and even a traffic island has them, good to see, they brighten up the area.

Staff shortages meant Mrs S was working a rare Sunday, I pottered about for a bit before deciding to crack on with some of the admin I’d been putting off for a while.
Caught up with some of the many programmes I had recorded.
All in all a quiet day.
