Beach trip

Today started with another walk… OH came too and as his appointment was cancelled (the osteopath’s son was pinged and he was also isolating?) we decided on a long walk and stopped half way for a coffee stop, bumping into friends doing the same walk.

I had an appointment to investigate more volunteering which sounds promising and got back around 2.00.  We decided to have a beach trip as the weather looked promising so drove down to the coast.  The weather was ok and we had a hour of sun followed by fish and chips in a nice beach front restaurant.  Tasty but the batter was a bit soggy unfortunately.  Home to catch the last sun rays in the garden while enjoying a cup of tea and discussing plans for tomorrow.

Disappointed to hear about the extra countries added to the amber list - which will involve an extra test but no quarantine - unless flights are cancelled.  Watch this space.
